I’m proud to announce that season five of the Let’s Code JavaScript “Recorded Live” series launched today. We’re celebrating with free episodes!
With over 370 episodes and more than 90 hours of content, “Recorded Live” is quite possibly the most in-depth coding series on the Internet. It chronicles the development of a real web application, from scratch, warts and all. The series has spawned several open source tools, including Quixote, a library for testing CSS.
Season Five continues the tradition with a deep dive into the real-time web. We’ll be expanding our WeeWikiPaint application to support multiple users and real-time collaboration. Along the way, we’ll deal with topics not covered in typical tutorials, including security, load management, unreliable networks, and race conditions.
To celebrate the launch of Season Five, all new episodes are FREE through the end of January! If you’re new to the show, this is the perfect opportunity to join in. You can jump right into the latest season without needing to catch up on previous episodes.

New episodes come out every Monday and Wednesday! Check back often.
